As expected at EICMA Motor Show presents a huge number of new products, one of which became the sport bike Suzuki GSX-R1000, equipped with 16-valve engine DOHC, volume 999ss, supplemented by a system of TSCC, due to which substantially raised the torque and a six-speed gearbox.
Maximum engine power of 160 hp at 9,500 rpm with 110 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm with a compression ratio 12.8:1.
Platform Suzuki GSX-R1000 is made of aluminum front suspension features coil springs and other design elements used on modern sports bikes, so GSX-R1000 is better road handling and is very responsive to turns.
The front brakes are equipped with 310-mm and 220 mm rear calipers. Weight of the bike was 205 kg, the cost starts at 12,899 dollars (9,186 euros).
