Preproduction version of BMW i8 was caught in traffic

The prototype has undergone changes compared to the conceptual model. Bimmerpost showed first spy photos of the preproduction prototype BMW I8. There are, significant changes in comparison with the concept that BMW introduced earlier this year. Diving shark-like front is replaced by inferiors bumper and headlights are shifted further away the lid. Windshield is no longer one with the ceiling, and doors are larger and more low-lying, in order to facilitate access. The side mirrors are moved from the front speakers to the doors and the door handles are positioned lower. However silhouette stays close by radiation to that of the conceptual design of I8. In the rear wings are preserved, appearing as a continuation of the columns. The rear lights are apparently "floating" and will remain so, and will unite in a common block with blinkers.
