Driving the crazy Ariel Nomad R 2021

 

 



Last summer, Ariel introduced the Nomad R. With its commercial launch starting in the coming days, Henry Catchpole had the opportunity to drive the craziest version of the small British company's off-road model and share his impressions. .

The Nomad R is powered by the 2.0-liter engine of the old Civic Type R (K20Z3), which in factory form delivers 200 horsepower at 7,800 rpm. and 188 Nm of torque at 6,200 rpm. Ariel, however, installed its own compressor, and so the Nomad R delivers 335 horsepower with 330 Nm of torque. For the 0-100 km / h it takes just 3 seconds, with the final speed reaching 195 km / h.
