The owner of the largest saloon Michael Ballard is a busy and well-known man these days after the broadcasting of his “Full Throttle Saloon,” reality television series on truTV channel.
The Full Throttle Saloon series is based around his saloon that is open only for nine days out of the year, throughout the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
truTV has agreed to telecast new episodes this fall; Ballard said, “The show was really successful and they picked us up for another 10 episodes this year”.
“We broke records on the Turner Network with tru Television”, said Ballard. “We were in the top five cable shows in our time slot; we beat out Discovery, Spike TNT and TLC”.
In August 2010, the saloon will open to the throngs of bikers who will be present the Sturgis Bike Rally.
Till date, the top attended Sturgis rally was the one in 2000, which drew over 600000 viewers; full Throttle Saloon series can be seen on the truTV channel this fall; video given below.via
