2011 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T mid-size sedan
Here in the U.S., the market for mid-size sedan is thought to be almost impenetrable to newcomers. He ruled for decades by modles that have become icons of the industry, the segment has had a long and peaceful reign for the people as the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. But the funny thing about success is that if you are very, very careful, that breeds complacency. While the titans of the realm of four doors have been sleeping in beds made effective on the innovations of the past two decades, Hyundai has been busy polishing his reputation and pour more than $ 550 million in new research and development of new and advanced transmissions for 2011 sonata.
One of the tenants accepted the long mid-size sedan is "You have to have a choice of six cylinders." Ironically, this mode of thought emerged as a challenge to the earlier belief that if he wanted to spend four doors in the United States , it had to offer a V8 engine under the hood. But when the Big Three Japanese proved they could deliver horsepower V8 with fuel-saving six-cylinder, the transporter family of eight cylinders disappeared from the scene. Now, Hyundai is to repeat history by debuting a turbocharged four-cylinder engine designed to rattle the cages of Toyota, Honda and Nissan.
