The Federal Road Safety (NHTSA, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) has granted a security clearance overall 5 stars to the 2011 Sonata, Hyundai is the highest rating. With its high strength steel chassis hot-forged, its 6 airbags and its system of electronic stability control (ESC), the midsize sedan proves that the manufacturer has the security of its customers at heart.
The 2011 Sonata, the first engine equipped with direct fuel injection to Hyundai, the car is most efficient in its class. Consumers can obtain this autumn, one of two new versions of the Sonata: the turbocharged 2.0-liter or the entire 1st hybrid Hyundai. Sales of the Sonata for 2010 rose 66% over the previous year.
