The final screen to find the winning Car of the Year Award 2011 has begun in Europe. After examining the 41 vehicles in competition, the 59 journalists (six of them Spanish-web-) that make up the jury of the coveted award in conclave have chosen the top seven cars on the list. The winner will be crowned on November 29.
These are the finalists:
* Alfa Romeo Giulietta
* Citroën C3/DS3
* Dacia Duster
* Ford C-Max C-Max/Grand
* Nissan Leaf
* Opel / Vauxhall Meriva
* Volvo S60/V60
It is noteworthy that the 2011 Volkswagen Passat, which appeared by surprise before anyone had a chance to test it (do not even know his final appearance), has finally been disqualified, and therefore can not compete in the final. It also highlighted the presence of the Leaf, the first electric vehicle in the history of the prize.
