Hyundai will soon submit a wagon version of its successful model Sonata

The premiere of the new model will be in March in Geneva, says the publication Hyundai-Blog.com.

The new Sonata sedan in Europe will be marked as Hyundai i40, a station wagon version will be i40w. Interestingly, in Europe, will appear first station wagon, in the spring and sedan will be sold from autumn next year. It is possible that the 2012 station wagon version of the Sonata to emerge in the U.S. market.


For the European version of the Hyundai Sonata are provided two petrol turbo engine - with a volume of 1.6 and 2.0 liters, with power accordingly 140 and 170 hp, and turbo-diesel engine with a volume of 1.7 liters and two versions of power - 115 hp and 136 .

Later in diesel engines will appear and power unit with 177 horsepower, which will be combined with new dual-clutch transmission. It was developed by Hyundai-Kia, as from next year will see it a number of serial models of both brands.
