General Motors will no longer use the brand Daewoo in South Korea. Cars that are currently available under that name in the near future will be renamed Chevrolet, reports Bloomberg referring to representatives of the Korean office of GM.
The management believes General Motors, South Korea's Daewoo has developed the brand a bad reputation, which could not be changed even after acquiring the brand American concern. Name change would improve the relationship to cars and to increase the demand for them, believe in GM.
