Official: Volkswagen XL1, the concept that consumes 0.9 liters per cent



XL1 Volkswagen presented the concept at the Auto Show in Qatar. In addition to consumption impressive XL1 shows how the Germans will evolve the current design.

According to Volkswagen's XL1 model has an average consumption of 0.9 liters per cent. That engine develops 48 hp, while the electric motor provides 27 hp. The two units are coupled to a DSG transmission with seven reports and assisted by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion. The prototype can run 100% electric mode for 35 miles and deliver, on average, 24 grams of CO2 per km.
