Nissan Leaf Nismo RC Live Photos : New York Auto Show 2011

Nissan wants to demonstrate that the performance can compete even with zero emissions. The prototype features custom-built components and technologies Nissan LEAF series, all in a spectacular carbon-fiber body ready for the race.

The family resemblance is clearly visible even if this version sharpened for the circuit is going door and rear seats, trunk, sound system, navigation and various other amenities. But the similarities between the Nissan LEAF LEAF series and the Nissan NISMO RC stop there.

As suggested by the acronym "RC" (for Racing Competition), this new electric vehicle that debuted at the New York Auto Show 2011, was purposely designed to give new meaning to the words "Racing Green ".

Already a world leader in zero emission vehicles mass produced Nissan LEAF was launched in late 2010, the United States, Europe and Japan. Nissan now considers the world of competition as a way to attract attention to seemingly untapped potential of electric vehicles.
