2011 Nissan Juke frontal offset crash test video



The Nissan Juke was introduced in the 2011 model year and is derived from the Nissan Versa. Two tests of the Juke were conducted, one by the Institute and the other by Nissan as part of frontal crash test verification. Ratings are based on both tests.

Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was well controlled in both tests. The driver side curtain and side torso airbags deployed during both crashes. After the dummy moved forward into the frontal airbag, its head contacted the side curtain airbag and the dummy rebounded into the seat without its head coming close to any stiff structure that could cause injury.

Injury measures — In each test, measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity.

Intrusion into the driver's space was minimal in both tests, and all leg and foot injury measures were low.
