For a bang Ford has the NAIAS in Detroit 2015 used. At the booth is the new GT. The super sports car draws from a 3.5-liter V6 with twin turbochargers of 441 kW / 600 hp. Thanks to lightweight carbon fiber construction and sophisticated aerodynamics particularly high performance can be expected. Ford intends to market the mid-engine basement end of 2016 in selected regions on the market - and remember the triple victory of the Ford GT 40 50 years ago at Le Mans.

In the Ford GT suspension components are both front and back out of aluminum subframe. This achieves the sports car a power to weight ratio, which is among the best in its class. The passenger compartment of the two-seat rear-wheel drive is made of carbon. The rear spoiler is designed to be movable.

By 2020, Ford plans to introduce more than twelve new sports car or sports models, which are derived from the halls of the newly formed "performance" teams.
