The news came from the head of Quattro GmbH, Heinz Hollerweger, who said that the V8 of 4,2 lt, which moves the current RS4, will be replaced by a turbocharged six-cylinder.
He added that the new engine will be stronger, surpassing the 420 horsepower "I believe that the increase in power will prove more than satisfactory, which of course applies to performance."
Finally, he revealed that more sporty version of the new A4 will "occur relatively soon in the life cycle model." Assume rather shortly after S4 which is expected in 2016.
