IAA 2015: 2016 The Kia Sportage is longer and classy - Live video and photos

Kia presents at the Frankfurt Motor Show (public days: 19 - 27.9.2015) before the fourth generation of the Sportage. The compact SUV is not only with a modified front end, in the spotlight more and later sit and the grille is wider and deeper created.

The new interior is dominated by horizontal lines clearly drawn, combined metal elements with a significantly increased proportion of soft-touch materials f. For more upscale appearance, the use of fabric, leather and decorative seams contributes. In addition, Kia has the noise level by a better sound insulation further reduced.

New model used is a 1.6-liter gasoline engine, which provides 130 kW / 177 hp and a maximum torque of 265 Newton meters mobilized, which stands over the wide speed range of 1500 to 4500 revolutions per minute available. The engine is derived from the drive of the sporty Cee'd GT. Another petrol engine of the previous model assumed by the 1.6-liter direct injection engine with 97 kW / 132 hp is available. The new Kia Sportage is the first quarter of 2016 throughout Europe in trade.
