Ending 14th race at Daytona does NASCAR Nationwide Series after leading one lap, the IndyCar driver Danica Patrick continues to learn and to find its footing in the series. Its high performance car could allow it to sign a Top-10 in the upcoming events.
Saturday at DRIVE4COPD 300, first race of the 2011 season of NASCAR Nationwide Series, Danica Patrick signed his career best. The IndyCar driver, who will attend the first four races of the year, crossed the line in 14th position and has even paid the luxury of a green-flag lap - a first for her.
But his inexperience has once again been felt particularly in this new area of Daytona International Speedway that produces long periods of Draft to two cars. If Patrick has shown his home when his car was in front of the duo, she has more cons struggled to find its footing in time to push another driver.
This lack of trust has played against him and the pilot was unable to find another driver with whom to associate long. Without teammate Draft she finally lost his footing and finished the race in 14th position, but a tour leader.
