Bridgestone, an airless tire concept
The Japanese tire maker has a "new" type of rubber on the Tokyo Motor Show.
Designed based thermoplastic resin, the tire has only advantages as Bridgestone. Without air, it is indestructible. The risk of a puncture is removed and he is therefore safer compared to conventional tires. The shock absorption is also equivalent to a tire pressure. To top it off, Bridgestone announced that its product is 100% recyclable.
Bridgestone, the "tire of the future" is on its way. The user will not have to monitor the pressure or worry about a possible puncture.
However, it will wait a few years before seeing these tires on our cars. The tire shown in the image is only 9 inches high.
