F1: A Grand Prix in 2012 in Texas - United States Formula 1


In recent weeks, the return of F1 in the United States was much talk. Bernie Ecclestone, the commercial rights manager of the league, hoping for a street race around New York.

A project in Jersey City was abandoned and another on a permanent circuit located in Monticello, at half past one in Manhattan, has been mentioned.

"For the first time in the history of Formula 1 in the U.S., the world-class facilities will be built to host the event," said Bernie Ecclestone.

With this circuit, the last F1 ensures its long term future in the United States. The contract is until season 2021.
