The TRX is officially back, and Ram didn’t bring it back quietly.
The 2027 Ram 1500 SRT TRX marks the return of the legendary SRT badge and instantly becomes the most powerful gas-powered, street-legal half-ton pickup ever built. Under the hood is a completely reworked supercharged 6.2-liter V8 producing 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque — more than the Ford F-150 Raptor R.
This isn’t just about power. Ram upgraded the transmission, four-wheel-drive system, suspension, and off-road hardware to make the TRX just as capable in the dirt as it is fast on pavement. With massive suspension travel, locking differentials, 35-inch tires, and multiple drive modes including Baja, this truck is built to dominate.
Inside, the TRX feels more like a luxury performance vehicle than a pickup. Premium materials, massive screens, advanced driver assistance, and a high-end sound system all come standard.
In this video, we break down what’s new, what really matters, and why the TRX’s return is a serious problem for the Raptor R.
Is this the ultimate performance truck? Watch and decide.
We were the first to tell you the name of this variant of mad Nippon SUV, the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet will indeed reality, as confirmed for the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2010. The first SUV ever built cabriolet, excluding Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and Suzuki Vitara / Jimny, could be seen in a time as First Prev show car.
