Ferrari 599 shows hybrid concept in Geneva

Another 2.5 years ago we wrote that Ferrari hybrid technology does not exclude early this year, Ferrari boss Luca Cordero di Montezemolo in Geneva openly that it is actively working with hybrid technology. In Formula 1 experience is gained with KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) that stores braking energy and then releases when accelerating. This technology will be used in the 599 hybrid concept.
