BMW showed a hybrid version of the first photo 5-Series

Less than a week before the premiere in Geneva, BMW is published pictures of the concept ActiveHybrid5, which, after minimal cosmetic changes will be a serial hybrid family of 5-Series. Environmentally-friendly sedan gets the same hybrid, as the X6 and 7-Series. However, according to unofficial sources, the petrol component of the tandem will be different: instead of the 4.4-liter V8, both the above models, the "top five" will be used 3.0-liter straight six-cylinder turbocharged engine, coupled with an electric power of 40 kW.
