Company Kia has decided to provide the first images of the interior concept, Ray, a hybrid which will build the entire hybrid line of the company. Ray continues the tradition of technology EcoDynamics, aimed at reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
According to one of the founders of the concept: "the center console car is a large touch screen in the form of the wing. We wanted all the traditional controls fit on one panel, the panel of the future, with access to the latest innovative technologies. "
"Central armrest and overhead console continues the theme of ease and accessibility. Both elements are touch screen, instead of traditional buttons and engines.
"With such a design the interior, the car gets an aesthetic appearance, along with athleticism, with a smooth faired. The lounge is dominated by hexagonal shape with a bright color palette.
"We wanted to create a modern and attractive space, nothing cold or dark, including rubber mats, which continue hexagonal motif.
Concept Kia Ray driven by an engine Gasoline Direct Injected (GDI), volume 1.4 l. and the power of 53 hp, with the support of the electric motor, the issuing of 78 kW.
