I've always been big fan of the atmospheric 6.2 liter V8 from AMG. Good torque and a lot of crazy low V8 rumble. But times change and engines are almost impossible to think without a turbo. They are more economical (yet depends mainly on your right foot) and usually a lot more torque. The new V8 biturbo 5.5 liters of the latter has certainly not too little, less than 900 Nm!

the S63 with 544 hp and 571 hp with the package. The sprint from 0 to 100 km / h for the heavy S-Class is no more trouble. In 4.5 seconds he jumps to 100, and the performace even get one tenth faster. The environment is also thought the new S63 5.5 consumes less than 3.9 L/100km less than the old S63 6.2, so he is 10.5 L/100 km. He even equip like start / stop technique.
