Serial electric Renault Fluence ZE and Kangoo Z.E. pics and specs
The French introduced the production version of electric Fluence ZE and Kangoo Z.E.. Already in the first half of 2011, they will go on sale in Israel and Denmark and then in other European countries.
According to Renault, to 2020 10% of the automotive market will belong to the electric transport, and the company intends to lead in this market segment, investing in the program elektromobilnuyu 4 billion euros. The company negotiates with governments to support, is preparing the infrastructure, signs a contract with energy and the other partners. Thus, in France will soon be created 75000 electric "filling stations", and subsidies for the purchase of electric vehicle in Europe amount to several thousand euros.
And Fluence Z.E. and Kangoo Z.E. will be sold without batteries, which can be rent for a modest fee - the cost of ownership of electric vehicles would be comparable to the possession of conventional diesel engine. Cruising both Z.E. is 160 km, the maximum speed limit 135 km / h for Fluence and 130 km / h for the Kangoo. There are three ways to replenish reserves of energy: charging from home network (10A or 16A, 220V) for 6-8 hours, charging at the station fast charge (32A 400V) for 30 minutes, or replacement batteries on the latest within 3 minutes - at the special station.
At first glance it may seem that Fluence ZE different from the fellow with the engine just a different front bumper and decor with an "ecological" blue tint, but the length of the car increased by 13 centimeters: in order to compensate for the space occupied by the batteries (they are hidden behind the rear seat), the developers decided to extend the rear overhang. Also a diffuser under the rear bumper and new rims - for better aerodynamics.
Cruising Kangoo ZE, as already mentioned, is 160 kilometers, carrying capacity 650 kg. Among the advantages of electric Kangoo creators refer silent running, dynamics, low operating costs.
