Volkswagen shows in the context of today's inaugural meeting held in Berlin of the National Platform for Electric Mobility Gulf Blue-E-Motion. The vehicle is driven forward by an electric motor integrated in the engine with an output of 85 kW / 115 PS. The engine delivers a torque of 270 Newton meters. Depending on driving style and conditions (including use of air conditioning and heating) are achievable with the electric golf ranges of up to 150 kilometers. This is usually sufficient for the majority of commuters in Germany.
