Ford unveils new Ranger 2011 2012 - Force of the 21st Century
According to the manufacturer, it will have three settings, bucket, traction 4x2 or 4x4 and five trim levels, which vary depending on where the 180 is offered. The design, for example, called "Force of the 21st Century" was thought of trying to please this broad range of clients.
With regard to engines, the new Ranger will be available to the 2.2 Duratorq TDCi I4 and I5 3.2, both diesel power and still not revealed. The block will be the petrol Duratec I4 2.5, which can be configured for dual fuel application capable of running only on ethanol, and natural gas, reports the Brazilian subsidiary of Ford. The offer includes the manual transmission 5 or 6 gears, the latter being driven by short lever, and 6-speed automatic which has a device to reduce speed on a descent, helping to brake.
Although further technical data, Ford said the crew cab version of the bucket will accommodate up to 1.21 meters cubic, and it measures 1.54 m long, 51 cm in height and 1.56 m wide.
