The marketing departments of the brands tend to put new names to existing models to market in different countries with the greatest chance of success. This is the reason why the ASX Mitsubishi changed its name to Sport Outlander in the U.S..
No major changes beyond the name, the Outlander Sport will be offered in this market with a two-liter gasoline engine with 150 hp. The standard equipment level ES already includes air conditioning, electric windows, central locking, bumpers painted USB port, stereo, trip computer, fog lights, stability control, traction control, multiple airbags, ABS, EBD , etc. The SE adds an audio system with 140w signed, panoramic roof, automatic climate control system, keyless entry and start, with hard drive built-in browser, specific interior decoration, etc.
At the moment prices are not known, although it appears to be around $ 20,000 for entry-level version and 26,000 for the most complete.
