As we should say that the production version has kept most things (and inside and outside) of the concept.

The new model is 4894 mm long, it has 74 mm more than the former model. Width is 1894 mm (39 mm), distance between axles 2855 mm. Only the height is reduced by 9 mm and 1365 mm.

Like the previous generation, the open car has a soft folding roof that opens for 19 seconds and closes in 24 seconds, the operation can be done at a speed of up to 40 mph.

According to BMW lightweight design of the roof and the mechanism for folding and opening has helped to reduce the weight of the car compared to the previous model.

Convertible with 4 seats and offers a pretty good storage space - 300 liters when the roof is retracted. Model photos is 650i, which has a V8 engine with 4.4 liters volume with a system of direct fuel injection, power 400 hp and maximum torque of 610 Nm, available between 1750 and 4500 rpm.

The engine can be combined or automatic transmission with eight levels (Sport Automatic transmission) or traditional manual gearbox with 6 degrees. And with both transmissions 650i accelerates from standstill to 100 km / hour in 5.0 seconds and top speed is limited electronically to 250 mph.

At least later versions will appear with other engines, incl. inline 6 cylinder with turbo and turbo V8, which will look at M6. As might be expected, the new 6-Series offers many advanced technologies even as standard. To mention the Driving Dynamics Control, Brake Energy Regeneration system, LED headlights and fog lights, Active Roll Stabilization and others.
