The company officially introduced the Ferrari racing modification supercar 458 Italia, dubbed Challenge. Presentation of the car, which next year will take part in the championship Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, took place on Wednesday in Maranello during the annual meeting of the representatives of the dealers brand. Novelty is underestimated by 30 millimeters suspension with stiffer springs and other springs, Brembo brakes with carbon-ceramic discs, an upgraded seven-speed transmission with gear change, as well as more subtle body panels, which lowered the mass of the car. Also in the race supercar are widely used carbon fiber parts, instead of conventional glass set their polycarbonate counterparts. Supercar Ferrari 458 Challenge is equipped with the same engine as the standard car - 570-horsepower 4.5-liter eight-cylinder engine with direct fuel injection. According to representatives of the Italian manufacturer, racing, "Italy" passes the circle test track at Fiorano in 1 minute 16.5 seconds, almost two seconds faster than the predecessor to this model - F430 Challenge.
