Proton still living in Kuala Lumpur? You should know that the Malaysian manufacturer plays at home and in addition, it celebrates its quarter century. Latest baby: the Satria Neo R3 Concept. As its name suggests, it will not be produced.

R3 is the official name of the preparer Proton rally. The Satria Neo R3 Concept aims to be sporty.

The 1.6 liter Campro receives a turbo, pistons R3, a new tree-to-cam, a carbon air intake, new exhaust and a new lineup of injection. It thus delivers 200hp and 250Nm of torque.

It also has brakes with AP four-piston calipers and 295mm discs. The tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE155 of 195 with 15 inch rims.

The interior is lined with nappa leather and Alcantara. The bucket seats are Recaro Sparco harness with. The steering wheel is a Sparco R323. To stay in the race atmosphere, the instrumentation is replaced by a digital display and GPS.
