Geneva 2011: here is what will look the Tornante Gumpert, 2012 700 hp

Gumpert has given us a glimpse of his Tornante 2012 with a sketch showing the direction that the manufacturer has made in its conception just before his appearance at the Salon de l'Auto in Geneva.

Built on a "Superleggera" which involves using a composite body affixed to a building frame monocoque carbon fiber supercar will get its power from a 4.2 liter V8 twin-turbocharged 700 horsepower from Audi.

The Tornante use a gearbox with shift paddles TT403 report steering wheel (the same as the Apollo) and a double wishbone suspension.

It was also learned that alternative version of the fireball is 2012, suggesting the possible introduction of a hybrid or electric.
