First Spy photos of 2012 Lada Granta

Over the weekend, the internet appeared first pictures of the new model Lada, called Granta.
AutoNews edition published two photos of the model whose mass production starting from September this year.


It is now known that the new model will be made on the platform of the Lada Kalina and will replace the classical model of Lada-2105/2107, produced more than 4 decades.

In a year AvtoVAZ plans to produce around 400,000 cars from the new model. According to preliminary data, the base price of cars in Russia will be about 220,000 rubles (about 9850 Euro).

The official premiere of Lada Granta will be this spring, and the general public will be presented in August at the Moscow Motor Show.


If Grant is successful model in Russia, its platform is likely to be used in cheaper models of alliance Renault-Nissan.
