From Lotus confirmed that it will make a small city car, as this will be done with Proton, the company owns Lotus.
City of Lotus car will be named Ethos, which continues the tradition of names beginning with the letter E in the brand.

The head of Lotus, Danny Bahar said that the new small car will be marketed by 2014. The car will be made in Malaysia, but the version of Lotus will be done in the English factory in Norfolk.
