This little roadster is a Jaguar
These are the first images of new small two-seater roadster of Jaguar.
The car was taken during a test near the company's management in Coventry, England. The new model is currently codenamed XE, it will be positioned in the model line of the company under the current XK.

The new roadster at the company is perceived as a spiritual successor to the legendary E-Type. Ambitions of the people of this model Jaguar are to compete with some of the smaller models of Porsche, so the price will be between that of the Boxster and 911. Roadster has a retractable fabric roof, it will be available in all global markets.

The car will be built a modernized aluminum platform and the HA will have rear-wheel drive. Its wheel base, however, will be much shorter than that of HA.

The engines are V6 versions of the new company and will be combined with an automatic transmission with 6 degrees. Is expected to premiere the new Jaguar XE to be in March 2012 in Geneva. Britain predict a possible price of the car between 40 and 50 thousand pounds (between 90 000 and 110 000).
