Here is a document from the buying guide for fleets, which shows that the payload of the Ford F-150 will increase for the year 2012, until 29.5% for the SuperCrew version. These changes relate to the motorized version of the EcoBoost 3.5 liter V6 365-horsepower and 569 nm. Kg conversions are:
2080 lbs = 945.45 kg.
1930 lbs = 877.27 kg.
1970 lbs = 895.45 kg.
2590 lbs = 1177.27 kg.
2340 lbs = 1063.64 kg.
It looks like the Ford F-150 will have better towing capacity while being fuel efficient at the same time. Sounds good.
