IAA 2011: The Chevrolet Miray drive three motors






Chevrolet shows at the Frankfurt Motor Show and the Miray. The purist concept car is powered by three engines: a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo behind the cockpit and two front-mounted electric motors with 15 kW / 20 hp. The 1.6-kWh lithium-ion battery is charged by regenerative braking energy. The drive system can switch between front-and rear-wheel drive, so that can be driven in city driving on electric power.
