Lexus GS 450h Live Frankfurt Motor Show 2011




Presented the fourth generation Lexus GS 450h of the spotlight of the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011. The hybrid is nearly identical to the standard version of the car, features a different front lights, blue badges and 17-inch wheels. Inside trim differences include bamboo and mandatory display of the hybrid system. The new GS 450h is driven by second-generation hybrid system in the Lexus. It consists of a new 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine running on the Atkinson cycle and an electric motor. The total system power is 343 hp, which are sufficient to accelerate the vehicle from standstill to 60 miles per hour in 5.6 seconds. The maximum speed is 245 km / hour. The car has four modes (Eco, Sport S, Sport S + and EV), which only allow movement of electricity, gasoline only or a combination of both.
