Honda is also present at the Motor Show in Beijing, China, with great news: the prototype Concept C. This is the conceptual version of a new sedan, the Civic of the same size, designed specifically for the Chinese market.

According to the Japanese, the Concept C anticipates a new model that will be marketed only in the Chinese market from next year. Honda says the "C" stands for "China", "Challenge" (challenge) and "Cool" (legal).

Along with the presentation of the Concept C, Honda announced plans to build a third production line at its plant in Zengcheng from the end of this year. The expectation of the brand is to make it operational in 2014 with an initial production of annual production of 120,000 units. However, the goals are much bigger and the strategy is to expand the capacity up to 240,000 units in the near future.
