New look for the Land Rover Freelander 2 2013 Photo

The Freelander 2, a pioneer of small SUV Premium, is getting a makeover. The menu looks (a bit) changed, new finishes and new equipment.

Inside, the biggest change comes from the center console, entirely new. Wheel system "Terrain Response" has been replaced by two buttons, and new storage spaces are present. The instrument cluster is also new, with a 5-inch screen between the tachometer and speedometer. This screen displays the particular transmission mode selected, temperature, fuel level and the gear engaged ... All information displayed is selectable via the steering wheel controls. Finally, the new system promises Meridian audio performance with its hair-raising 380W or 825W, and 17 speakers.
Two new options are emerging for purchase: finish Dynamic (mid-range), already seen on the Evoque offers a sportier body kit, while louvers in the grille and on the wings of benefit a glossy black finish. The interior features leather seats with electric.
Finishing second choice, the HSE LUX range hood now. It adds the finishing HSE (panoramic roof, seats and mirrors with memory, 825W Meridian audio system) a special leather, black lacquer finish, carpeting and exclusive floor mats.
Styling range, the new 2.0-liter Si4 petrol unit 240 horsepower replaces i6. Already seen on the Range Rover Evoque, he now develops 240hp and 340 Nm of torque. 40 kg lighter than the 6 cylinder, it emits 224g/km of CO2, and therefore must pay € 2,300 malus ecological.
