2016 New Maruti Suzuki Baleno at the IAA 2015 Live





Suzuki introduces the new Baleno at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 . This car sees a new-concept platform, developed by Suzuki revising radically the basic configuration of the underbody of the preceding configurations, for maximum lightness and greater rigidity. Compared to conventional vehicles of the same category, the structure is more rigid Baleno about 10%, together with a reduction of approximately 15% of the total weight of the vehicle relative to the platforms which it replaces.

Under the hood of the engine is housed Baleno Boosterjet, a direct injection engine newly developed, with turbocharger: 1.0 liters capable of developing an output of 111 horsepower (82 kW) and a maximum torque of 170 Nm. The compact sedan Suzuki will also be available with a new 1.2 Dualjet. As for transmissions, the engine Boosterjet 1.0 can be coupled to a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission. The 1.2 engine Dualjet, however, may be associated with the same five-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission CVT.
