Cadillac has announced plans to reveal three new electric models, and recent spy photos give a glimpse at what one of those models may be. The SUV appears to be larger than the Lyriq and less truck-like than the electric Escalade. The design is a blend of the Lyriq and the XT6, featuring a relatively low nose with a flat hood, grille shape and slender daytime running light slots similar to the Lyriq, and taller to fit the SUV's shape. The sides have flush door handles, while the roofline and hatch provide maximum cargo and passenger space, similar to the XT6. The taillights appear to be Escalade-inspired, running from the bumper through the rear pillars to the roof. The vehicle will likely come with the same powertrain options as the Lyriq, with either a 340-horsepower single rear motor or 500-horsepower dual motors with all-wheel drive. It may also have additional battery capacity, but it's unclear whether this will enable greater range or just maintain the same level due to the vehicle's weight and aerodynamics. It is expected to be revealed sometime this year and may serve as the long-term successor to the XT6.
